Ta Prohm Temple

Ta Prohm Temple is the most attractive one among those temples of Cambodia. Many movies were filmed there, such as the Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and the Two Brothers. This temple is about the Mahayana of the 12^th century. It was one of the largest architectures of that time. It basically stays in the same image as it was discovered by the first group of French explorers. Although most of the temples of Cambodia are under the huge protection project, the grasses are cleaned and this temple is cruelly treated by the nature, and some parts of the temple are in ruins.

Inside the temple are narrow corridors and broken stone sculptures that look like a maze. Some places are tied by ropes because they may collapse. The trees embrace the stone sculptures, which provides perfect scenes for you to take some unbelievable pictures. According the records, it required 80 000 people to maintain this temple!
