Preah Khan Temple might be a Buddhist college when there were over 1 000 teachers living here. It is also one of the largest architecture group in Angkor. It has maze alike arched corridors exquisite decorations, and many stone stuffs covered by mosses. The layout of this temple is similar to the Ta Prohm Temple. It is well preserved. The layout is like a crossroad. The rattans in the corridors of south wind round the rocks, which makes the whole scene messy but uniquely mysterious; there is a strange two-floor building which seems like only can be seen in Greece.
Preah Khan Temple truly combines all kinds of temples: Buddhas of Mahayana in the east entrance, and other statues of Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. The gates basically have the same size getting smaller one by one, which symbolizes the order of the gods in Hinduism.
