For most foreign tourists, the night Bazaar is the most attractive place in Chiang Mai. The daily Night Bazaar is lopened in the west of the intersection of Chang Klan Road and Loi Khro Road, Saturday Market is opened on the opposite bank of the moat of the Old City’s south gate, and extends along Wualai Road, while Sunday Market is starts from Thapae Gate and ends in the front of Wat Phra Singh.
The night markets are hustling and bustling with crowds of tourists every night and offers almost every tourists souvenir and local specialty of Chiang Mai. Some tribal artists, wearing featured costume, also set up stalls on the markets selling their created artworks. In addition, night markets are also the best places to try various local snacks and dishes. It is suggested to go window-shopping on daily night markets, and buy your desirable souvenirs on Saturday Market and Sunday Market with lower prices.
