4 Days Highlights of Siem Reap

Airport pick up

Upon arriaval at Siem Reap airport, you will be welcomed by your local tour guide at the airport then transfer to hotel. Check in and have a rest in the hotel.

15:30—18:00  Angkor Wat

After short rest in the hotel, you tour guide will pick you up from hotel at 15:30, then escorts you to visit the famous world’s wonder site-Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temle complex and the largest religious monument in the world.

18:00 return to hotel.

Transfer back to hotel, rest of the day will be at your leisure. 

7:30 Hotel pick up

Your private tour guide and driver will pick you up from hotel then start the tour.

7:30-12:00 Angkor Thom & Tap Prohm Temple

After tour guide pick up, you will be escorted to visit the ancient city Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour in Angkor Thom will starts from the South Gate and walk along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung, then continue to the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as “smile of Angkor”. You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

When weather gets hot, your driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-condition and cold drinks inside your private car while transferring you to Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “lost to the jungle temple”.

12:00-15:30 return to hotel.

Return to city for lunch then transfer back to hotel for a rest to avoid the heat.

15:30-18:30 Banteay Srey, Ox Cart ride through village.

You will travel to the Pink Stone Temple of Banteay Srey. Despite its miniature scale, this temple has spectacular decorative wall carving which are still observable in fine details today.

Your tour will continue to visit, on the way back, local communities along the way and your guide will help you to interact with the local community to learn about the way of life here. Seize the opportunity to taste Palm Wine and Palm Sugar (seasonal) and other popular local products. After that you will continue to Banteay Samre temple which was built in 12th century. Finally, you will enjoy riding ox cart around the village near Samre temple to witness the daily life in the local village of Cambodia.

18:30 Return to hotel.

Transfer back to hotel, rest of the day will be at your leisure. 

8:30 Pick up from hotel.

After breakfast in hotel, your tour guide will pick you up from hotel then start today’s excursion to the biggest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake and continue with the ruined Temple of Beng Mealea.

8:30-12:00 Tonle Sap Lake ---Kompong Phluk

Tour guide pick up then transfer you to visit the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake. You will have a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forest on the lake, then spend rest of the morning at the largest village on the lake which is called Kompong Phluk, to discover the fascinating daily lives of the local people who leave on the water.

Enjoy lunch on a wooden terrace restaurant in Kompong Phluk, and enjoy some relaxing time wander around the wooden terrace path through the mangrove trees.

13:30 Tour to Beng Mealea.

Continue your excursion to discover the 900-year-old unpreserved temple—Beng Mealea temple, it is spread over several arcres of jungle, is a series of so-called libraries, courtyards, and other chambers that surround a sanctuary. It is considered one of the best temple because if its own character, charming and peaceful.

16:30-17:30 Return to hotel.

Transfer back to hotel, rest of the day will be at your leisure. 

Transfer to airport

Enjoy free at leisure till tour guide pick up from hotel and transfer to airport for your onward flight.
