Dalat Flower Park

It’s hard to separate Dalat and flowers from each other as the city is well known for its variety of colorful flowers and plant species. It even has its own famous annual flower festival which has proven to be very popular with tourists. Established in 1966, theDalatFlowerParkis located at the end ofXuanHuongLakeand covers an area of about 7,000sqm.

Hydrangeas, roses, pansies, mimosas and peach blossoms are among the 300 different kinds of common flowers displayed in the park along with many more exotic flowers, especially this natural museum houses a garden of orchids and a garden of thousands cactus from Africa. Some of the flowers blossom a few times in a year, meaning that the park always features lovely flora no matter when you visit, but the best time to see the vast charming attractiveness of this Dalat “speciality” is in winter season, especially in December and January when the Flower Festival is held.
