You will be met at the airport by our guide and transfer to the hotel by our private car. You will have the following sightseeing:

* Visit the 2600 years old Sule Pagoda marking of the city centre;

* see the old and quite impressive buildings surrounding Mahabandoola Park;

* Admire octagonal Botataung Pagoda near Yangon River; pass famous Strand Road;

* China Town including a short visit to a over 150 years old Chinese Temple;

* In the evening, the highlight: You will visit world famous Shwe Dagon pagoda with its 109 meters high solid gold stupa glittering in the soft light of the afternoon sun. This golden wonder has become the symbol of the capital. There you will experience the deep religiosity of the local people, for example, the water sacrifices for the weekday Buddhas.

* Take a photo with Karaweik Palace Restaurant Buliding floating on the Royal Lake. If you have the buffet dinner in the restaurant and you can enjoy the traditional dance. Overnight in Yangon.

Take 80 minutes early morning flight to Bagan, the first beautiful capital of the Myanmar (Burmese) , founded in the 11 century. Along with Angkor in Cambodia, this is the most important temple and pagoda complex in Asia. The whole day you will visit the archeological culture zone.

* Shwezigon Pagoda, the only one in Bagan originally covered with gold;

* The cave-temple Kyanzittha Umin housing precious and very old murals;

* Gubyaukgyi Temple built in classical Indian architecture;

* Upali Thein, ordination hall of Buddhist monks showing famous murals;

* Visit the Bagans famous lacquerware manufacturing

* The Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece of all temple buildings in Bagan: the interior seems almost Gothic, and they will surely be impressed by ancient wall murals in the meditation chamber.

* Enjoy sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Early morning check out from hotel and visit the Sunrise Pagoda for Beautiful sunrise experience. Then directly transfer to the Nyaung U airport and take the 30 minutes flight to Mandalay, where the kings of Konbaung Dynasty resided – and capitulated to the British at the end of last century.

*Amarapura, formerly another king’s residency; there they will see the over 100 years old world’s largest teak wood bridge-U Bein bridge.

* Visit the Mahagandayone Monastery : over ten thousand monks studying in this monastery.

* Mahamuni Temple housing the sacred gold Buddha;

* Shwe Kyaung : the gold-plated teakwood monastery Shwe Nandaw carrying precious wood carvings;

* Kuthodaw Pagoda , as “ largest book on earth” due to hundreds of marble slabs engraved with Buddhist sutras;

* Kyauk Taw Gyi Buddha : the huge Marble Buddha in a temple nearby;

* Late evening visit the Mandalay Hill for a bird’s eye view of the city.

After breakfast , take one hour driving to Mandalay Airport and take the flight back to the capital-Yangon. Free at leisure at the rest of the day.
