There are many temples and pagodas on the mountain. The architectures on the slope are quite new, but there are many ancient temples and beautiful sightseeings on top of the mountain. You can watch the very stunning sunset if you walk along the little road to the mountain. Wat Pa Huak requires some entrance fee. That Chom Si is the commanding hights of the mountain, and also the starting place of Laos New Year Parade. On the back of the pagoda lies a little cave shrine named Wat Tham Phu Si. In the northeast stands the ruins of Wat Pha Phutthabaht which was firstly built in 1395 when Laos was ruled by Phaya Samsenthai.
