Chao Phraya River

In the past, Bangkok was famous as the Venice of the East. Roads are not the tool of transporting goods and passengers, but the rivers. The broad Chao Phraya River is like the highway leading to mainland Thailand - all the livings lead their lives based on the huge canals, and the Thailand people consider themselves as the master of water. Nowadays, things have changed, but once you take a fast boat in any wharf of the Chao Phraya River, you can still see the traces or quality of living with water. It is one of the most comfortable transport ways in Bangkok.
