There are several floating markets are simply built with bamboos on different regions on the bank of Inle Lake. Floating Market is an important good distribution center for local people and is held every five days in different location in turns.

With increasingly tourists here, traveling souvenirs are also found today on the market that travelers can pick up their favorite Myanmar crafts such as lacquerware, teakwood carvings, pottery, jewelry.

During the peak hours of the market day, boats of goods and boats for tourists are thronged together in the narrow waterway, just like the traffic jam on land. This abustle and astir attracts numerous travelers to visit.
